Daisy Nursery

Aster Daisy Nursery is located in an Edwardian house with plenty of history. We have enjoyed returning this building to its former glory, although we have added some mod cons along the way! Under floor heating, brand new kitchens, bathrooms and boilers as well as completely new floorings and décor have kept us busy these past few months. From the dash of Morris wallpaper in the grand entrance hallway, to the old lift shaft being converted into storage, the glorious stained-glass window uncovered, to the exposed fireplace; we have explored the charm of this building whilst designing a thoughtful and cohesive space, perfect for little people.

Our library nook will enchant children, empowering them to investigate texts they want to read and share; our children’s kitchen has been installed to provide opportunities to learn life skills and have a dedicated space for creating cuisine, the low level sinks even allow children to participate in clearing up; our atelier space is flooded with light, canvases, a pottery wheel and space for transient art; and our playrooms are well equipped with age and stage appropriate resources to enhance each area of the curriculum and offer invitations to learn along play.

Not only are we fortunate to have so much space inside our main building, we are very proud to also have an outdoor chalet, our forest school hub, and the old pool house, which we have turned into a bespoke, custom-made, high end soft play facility – just for the exclusive use of our children.

Finally, our private gardens wrap around our property, giving us the most beautiful and safe landscape in which to bloom. Ample parking is available onsite, and we are connected by footpath to the main hub of the village of Rake, bus stops, and the local primary school. The train station is minutes away.

Just off the A3, close to Liphook and Petersfield, we are easy to reach but in the most perfect rural cocoon.
